The annual Parkland Music Festival is a multi-day event featuring student performances in piano, voice, strings, band, and choir. The Parkland Music Festival is hosted and organized by the Parkland Music Teachers' Association (PMTA) www.parklandmusicteachers.org. The Parkland Music Festival is a member of the Alberta Music Festival Association and is able to make provincial recommendations for outstanding participants. The goal of the Parkland Music Festival is to provide the best opportunity and adjudication for music students in and around Parkland County.
The 2018 Parkland Music Festival will be held on March 12-18, 2018. Festival classes are held March 12-17 (Monday-Saturday) in venues in Parkland County, Spruce Grove and Stony Plain. A full listing of all sessions and venues is now available under At-A-Glance/Program tab. Our annual Gala Concert will be held on Sunday, March 18 at 7:00pm. The Gala concert features memorable festival performers and all festival scholarships are awarded throughout the concert. All festival sessions and the Gala Concert are open to public audiences.
