The adjudicators and venues are booked, the participants are scheduled, the program is online!! Join us the week of March 13-19 for the Parkland Music Festival. Sessions are happening in Spruce Grove and Stony Plain Monday-Saturday, March 13-18 with the Gala concert on Sunday, March 19 at 7:00pm. All sessions are free to the public.

It is hard to believe but February 1 has already come and gone!! Entries have flooded in our fantastic entry secretary, Carmen, is now in the midst of entering all of the information. This is an exciting time for the committee and we are looking forward to start scheduling in a week or so. Our hope is that this will be the best Parkland Music Festival yet.If you would like to support the festival, either by donation or by volunteering, please contact the appropriate individual on our contact page. As well, all questions and comments can be sent to our Chairperson as he is happy to direct them where they need to go. Stay tuned for a schedule in the coming weeks!!
We are already gearing up for a fantastic 2015 music festival. In the next month or so, the syllabus will be online. The entry form is updated and ready to go and we are thrilled to have the following disciplines in 2015: Voice, Piano, Guitar, Strings, Choir, Band, Brass, and Woodwind. Keep an eye on our adjudicator page as bios will continue to appear.
Well, we just wrapped up the 2014 festival with a very successful Gala concert. What a wonderful night of performances! Congrats to all the students of music who participated in our largest festival to date.

Well, March has quickly come upon us and all of the entries have now been received. Carmen has done a ton of scheduling and letters are going out today!! We have a huge increase in voice entries so we will be adding Thursday morning and afternoon sessions for voice performers. This is the best problem for a festival to experience :-)
The program is underway and we will have it online towards the end of March. Thank you again for your entries and we look forward to another fantastic Parkland Music Festival!!
In addition to Band, Woodwind, School Woodwind, and School Vocal classes, we will also be adding Composition classes to the 2013 festival! Entry fees are listed for all classes (see "Entry Fees" tab) and the full Parkland Music Festival Syllabus will be online by this weekend.

The Parkland Music Festival will be offering Band classes in 2013. We have also added woodwind classes in addition to the piano, guitar, and voice classes we previously offered. Also, we have added School Woodwind and School Vocal classes!!
Entry Fees for 2013 have been posted and an updated Entry Form has been added. I have been working hard on the syllabus/addendum and hope to have it online in the next week. Donations are already coming in for the 2013 festival!! These will be posted on the Donor page this week.
