2012 Adjudicators

Jennifer Bossé, B.Mus (piano)

Jennifer Bossé is a native Albertan. She acquired a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Alberta and an Assoc. of Music in Piano Performance from the Western Board of Music. Since then, music has continued to be a labor of love for her. She has enjoyed an active musical career teaching piano, adjudicating, accompanying string players and vocalists, and serving in music ministry at her church. Her students were the recipients of many awards, both in piano examinations and festivals.

Mrs. Bossé served for several years on the executive of the Alberta Registered Music Teachers Association; both the Edmonton branch and the Provincial Board. She has been actively involved with the Contemporary Showcase Festival of Music in Edmonton, has served on the Provincial Music Festival Advisory Board and the Jablonski Endowment Board, and as Chairperson of the ARMTA Examining Board.

Mrs. Bossé has been participating in music festivals for most of her life; first as a young student, later as a teacher encouraging her own students and her two daughters in festival participation, then as an adjudicator. Since her retirement from teaching Mrs. Bossé remains active as a church musician, a piano adjudicator at Provincial Music Festivals, and as a substitute piano teacher for students whose teachers need to be away for a week or more during the year.
